Design and AnalysisReturn to top

Pensher Skytech can offer:

  • In house design capability using a range of software packages 2D and 3D computer aided design (CAD), from concept to commercialisation
  • In-depth analysis such as Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and process modelling
  • Advanced stress and fatigue analysis and heat transfer thermodynamics

Bespoke Product Development

Our in-house team of design engineers are experienced and have the product knowledge to develop, test and manufacture bespoke, innovative access and fenestration systems for environments requiring protection from the threat of blast, ballistics, fire and forced entry.

We will ensure your project specifications are met, advising where appropriate and providing bespoke solutions to meet your requirements.

TestingReturn to top

There is no substitute for physical testing, and Renown Group utilises a range of verification techniques including hydrostatic and fire testing to prove new designs.Renown Group’s hydrostatic test facility can perform watertight, weather tight and gastight tests by subjecting products to high pressures from either compressed air or water.

We also have a thermodynamic testing facility to provide practical evidence of product suitability in various applications where elevated temperatures are likely.  These facilities have applications for the Pensher Skytech product range for blast, gas tight, fire rated and insulating products. As part of Renown Group, Pensher Skytech has a program of testing and development with both in house and external specialist facilities.

Fire

Renown in house furnace can be used to test small sample pieces and prove concepts prior to full production and testing with recognised test facilities such as Warrington. http://www.warringtonfire.net/
